Here, I spotted the red brick building that looks derelict but is actually the ornate fa\u00e7ade of the park\u2019s hidden <b>bandstand<\/b>, built in place of the house. This stretch is the <strong>Birmingham New Main Line<\/strong>, another piece of <strong>Thomas Telford\u2019s<\/strong> engineering from 1827 that shortened the route to Wolverhampton. I then continued along the <strong>Worcester and Birmingham Canal<\/strong> before leaving the waterside by the university. I negotiated a couple of park gates and <strong>two flights of steps<\/strong>, but the lack of stiles or kissing gates made the <strong>explore<\/strong> smooth. The whole circuit took me approximately <strong>3 hours<\/strong> at a consistent, enjoyable walking pace.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
