Not your typical beach, and definitely not a jaw-dropping view, as you can probably imagine\u2026<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Honestly, the name \u2018Padiham Beach\u2019 has always been more of a playful nickname locals use, rather than a real description.<\/span><\/p>

That said, short visits can still be fun\u2014like families stopping by to feed the ducks on a sunny afternoon or just enjoying a quick moment by the river. \ud83e\udd86<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Most of these ratings are clearly jokes\u2014sarcastic reviews from folks who know well the unremarkable reality of this so-called local \u2018beach\u2019.<\/span><\/p>

While going through them for this post, I have to admit, quite a few actually made me laugh.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cFine golden sand within easy reach of beachside amenities, fish and chip, bars and Tesco, the ideal spot to bask in the sun with a picnic or 3 litres of white lightning.\u201d \u2013 Andrew Standen<\/span><\/p>
