Fun fact \u2013 Beatrix Potter owned Tarn Hows until she passed, after which the National Trust took care of the Coniston estate.<\/span><\/p>

The sparkling waters remain one of Lakeland\u2019s most treasured spots \u2013 one glance at Tarn Hows and it\u2019s easy to see why this gem is so loved! \u2728<\/span><\/p>

This easy, mostly flat loop around the tarn is perfect for families and fully accessible for wheelchair users.<\/span><\/p>
