You can easily reach Glencoe by car, and if you are coming from Fort William, the trip takes about 30 minutes by local bus or taxi.

From Glencoe village, the walk to Hagrid Hut takes around 40 minutes through beautiful woodland that truly feels like the Forbidden Forest from the films. Just follow the path heading south east from the village centre and enjoy the adventure. 🌲

Perched high on the rugged hills, this hidden spot is easy to miss. There are no signposts, and you cannot see it from the road below.

During your walk, watch for Red Squirrel Campsite on your right. Shortly after, the Harry Potter filming location waits quietly on the hills to your left.

Keep walking past the lake right after the campsite, then follow the trail climbing up the hillside on your left.

If you are coming from Clachaig Inn, step outside the inn, turn left right away, and walk up the quiet country road. You will reach the Hagrid Hut filming location in about 6 minutes.
