💡 Tips for Tackling These Challenges
Plan Ahead 📍: Long, multi-day routes require careful planning of daily distances, accommodation, and resupply points.
Choose Your Terrain Wisely 🏞️: Road cyclists may prefer LEJOG or coast-to-coast routes, while gravel and touring bikes are better suited for Adventure Series routes and the Trans Pennine Trail.
Break the Journey into Sections ⚡: Setting reasonable daily distances and planning overnight stops makes long challenges much more enjoyable.
Train Gradually 💪: Increase distance and riding time progressively, especially if you’re aiming for long endurance routes like Chase the Sun or Lôn Las Cymru.
